Why is it called "Write It Forward?"

Write It Forward is an exciting opportunity for candidates from all walks of life to advance their careers while supporting high-science brands that help move patients’ lives forward. In addition, participants are paired with mentors on their designated teams and participate in a weekly “Write It Forward Circle,” with the goal of having participants pay it forward by becoming mentors in future sessions.

  • Join live speaker sessions

How does it work?

  • 12 week full-time, paid learning program
  • Weekly two hour training classes
  • Dedicated mentor on an assigned brand team
  • Potential to be hired into a full-time copywriting position

Write It Forward isn't just an "internship." It's more like a "preceptorship" that is common in health-related fields. Basically, it's a period of practical experience and training that is supervised by an expert or specialist in a particular field.

The program is a structured, supportive period of transition from learning to applying the set of specific skills necessary for being a junior science copywriter. We are looking to invest in candidates who are in it for the long haul, willing to put in the work during the program and grow their career with us at the completion of the program.

Sample sessions:

  • Copy collaboration with departments
  • Working with references
  • Pen to paper: Different kinds of manuscripts
  • Stats, numbers and endpoints
  • Writing for patients & the digital world
  • Creative concepting
